Tom learnt the piano aged 30 in 2021 to quit drinking, inspired by Elton John.
He has performed globally as his alter ego, Sir El Tom, including concerts in all 50 American states and at legendary venues such as Carnegie Hall and the Adelphi Theatre.
He is also a composer and record producer, who has interviewed and worked in the studio with some of the biggest names in music such as Earth, Wind & Fire, Raye, Annie Lennox, Shania Twain and Ronnie Wood.

Tom's extensive work as a fashion designer has included creating Nigel Olsson's stage outfits across several tours and hundreds of concerts, including the purple suit he wore at Glastonbury in 2023 and the "Brazil" tailoring at Rock in Rio 2026.
