Tom is a record producer, songwriter, singer and piano player. He has produced, written songs and recorded with the likes of The Stylistics, Shania Twain, Ronnie Wood of The Rolling Stones, Gene Simmons of KISS, Justin Hawkins of The Darkness, Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top, Bill Champlin, Nigel Olsson, Davey Johnstone, Jay Graydon, The Real Thing, Nathan East, Kenji Suzuki of Simply Red, Tower of Power and Steve Lukather of Toto.
Tom started playing and singing in his late twenties to recover from alcoholism. He learnt the piano during the Covid-19 lockdowns as a way of staying sober, inspired by Elton John, and has toured all over the world as his alter ego, "Sir El Tom John". He has played hundreds of concerts at iconic venues including the Performing Arts Center San Luis Obispo, Adelphi Theatre, Tivoli, Casino Estoril, Emerson Colonial Theatre, Scottsdale Performing Arts Center, Sunrise Theatre and Carnegie Hall.
